Senior Software Developer

Position Description & Principle Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for enhancements/modifications to SoftAge Health - EHR integrations to comply with mandated electronic prescribing of controlled substances. Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols, create and maintain all documentation for all assigned applications, and develop, plan and execute testing for supported applications.
  • Maintain strong communications with Project Leader/Manager/Team Leader as well as other team/staff members, end-users and vendors to ensure a productive and cooperative environment. Communications will be at a professional level.
  • Responsible for the configuration, upgrade, maintenance and implementation of multiple new and existing complex business or clinical applications. Mainly - SoftAge Health (EHR) and Patient Shift (Patient Portal).
  • Responsible for analyzing and build scripts to convert data from multiple data sources including text files, ODBC and non-ODBC compliant data base files. Other data sources may include proprietary formats, MS Excel and MS Access.
  • Responsible for running validation processes to ensure the accuracy in data conversion process.
  • Manage and respond promptly and professionally to defect reports.
  • Responsible for thorough testing of all EHR system interfaces before go-live for all of the assigned projects.
  • Responsible for reviewing the regulations on an ongoing basis and enhance the SoftAge health application to be compliant with regulations on an ongoing basis and ensure it is up to date.
  • Conduct needs assessment and troubleshoot issues that arise during implementation and recommended specific solutions such as installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and practices, or redesign of processes and workflows.
  • Responsible for expert level database support, including the daily system health check, batch process monitoring and issue fixing, and software maintenance.
  • Responsible for application Development, including but not limited to proposing expert solutions during the design and development phases, ensuring the quality of these components by performing code review and performance checking before production deployment, performing the installation in production environment, and trouble-shooting and correct bugs/issues.
  • Fluency in many development environments and web-based tools to provide technical expertise and guidance in the development of complex, high-performance web-based software and applications.
  • 7 – 10 years of IT and business work experience and preferred experience in managing team(s) in system analysis and programming functions.
  • Experience with Java and J2EE, Oracle RDBMS and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • BS in computer Science or Comparable discipline.
  • Experience with JSP, Java Script, HTML, XML, J2EE, CSS.
  • Experience with MS-Office.
  • Experience in working with Agile and/or SCRUM methodologies.

Front Desk Executive

Position Description & Principle Responsibilities:

Looking for a dedicated, hard working, detail oriented receptionist. Candidate must display a positive, cheerful and charming attitude.

  • Make and receive phones, manage voice mail and appropriately respond to external calls and maintain log of all communications.
  • Greeting and hosting visitors which may include coordinating meals, refreshments and coffee for visitors.
  • Copying, binding, arranging in soft and hard copies.
  • Must be able to work in shifts, flexible timings as per need and requirements to support global meetings, events, etc.
  • Daily calendar management for executives and plan and coordinate for the meetings, including teams in multi-global locations.
  • Participate in executive team meetings and record the sessions, take notes and publish as directed and as needed.
  • Schedule and manage domestic and international travel arrangements according to company travel policy; able to handle complexities from regular or last-minute changes to travel plans.
  • One-year experience as a front office executive in healthcare space is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college education is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other office products.
  • Outstanding customer service, organizations, and multi-tasking skills required.
